GITD Knobs
« on: June 11, 2012, 10:24:04 AM »
I want to make some GITD knobs... just like on a guitar, with set screws. I have access to a machine shop so the mechanical part is not a problem... molds, machining, etc.. What I want to know is the ins and outs of the forming process for your GITD pellets. Is there a way that this could be done at home... diy? What colors could be done this way?

Also, could the GITD powder be added to the powder coat? What temperatures will it withstand?

Glow powder can withstand temperatures of up to 900 degrees centigrade. Mixing it with pellets is a tricky process. Each pigment grade has a different formula.
